Configuring Parameters in the Connect Distributor Portal

Configuration parameters need to be populated with correct values to ensure the proper functioning of the connector. In order to populate the configuration parameters with the correct values, complete the following steps:

  1. Log in to the CloudBlue Connect Distributor Portal.
  2. Click Products in the main menu at the top of the page and then select Adobe.
  3. Click Configuration.
  4. Assign the proper value to each required parameter.

In the table below you can see a description of the parameters.

Note: This option is disabled by default and partners using CloudBlue Commerce must not turn it on, since applying discount level pricing based on the Linked Membership is not currently supported by CloudBlue Commerce. Partners can use this parameter to enable the Linked Membership functionality as long as it is fully supported by the Commerce platform.

enable_3yc When this parameter is set to Enabled, customers with more than 10 licenses will be able to initiate a 3-year commit.
enable_global_sales This Configuration Marketplace parameter allows you to enable Global Sales in a particular marketplace. sm_3yc_formula

It allows you to select the formula that will be used in Seamless Move to calculate the reseller margin for subscriptions that are transferred, imported or part of a reseller change process. Allowed values are the following: Default, No Reseller Margin and MSRP Only.

  • Default: It treats Wholesale as a "cost-plus" calculation and Retail as a "market-plus" calculation. It assumes the distributor adds a margin to what they paid, and the retailer adds a margin to the suggested market price. It applies the markups configured in the sm_3yc_* parameters below to define the reseller's price and the retail price.

  • No Reseller Margin: The estimated street price is used as the baseline.

  • MSRP Only: This option is for partners who align all their pricing with the Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) and manage discounts separately after the price list is generated. All markups are ignored. Every calculated field is forced to match Adobe's estimated retail price.

sm_3yc_wholesale_markup The actual markup added to the vendor price to determine the reseller's wholesale price.
sm_3yc_retail_markup The actual markup added to the list price to determine the final retail price.
mid_term_switch_available Enables or disables mid-term product upgrades for a specific marketplace.
